An update on my progress:
I recently broke through the $500 mark (now comfortably above this), and bought into a local NL casino satellite for $60.
I finished in the top four of 100 players to win a $1100 buyin to a $100k tournament at the end of June. So I guess that takes me to a theoretical $1500 bankroll (the ticket is actually transferrable, so perhaps it's not even theoretical). Not too bad for a $0 investment!
Also managed 13th recently in a WSOP main event freeroll.
