This is being done solely for profit: for Harrahs, for the advertisers, and for the players. Now all 9 players will be paid more than they could ever win in the event by advertisers, wear my
shirt, wear my hat, talk about us in your interviews, blah blah blah.... And noone else will get any sponsorship money from now on. Why would they waste their dollars sponsoring 100 players when they know they can just bid on one or two at the end and be guaranteed maximum exposure?
On another note, 3 months is ridiculous, I hope something terrible happens, like a finalist ends up in jail and can't play or something, just to stick up these greedy fuckers asses. Maybe 3 of them will turn into coke heads and show up all strung out already having blown through the 9th place money.
Why the fuck don't they just televise the final table live?
