I am a typical 5/10 player and those 4bet/fold and 4bet/call ranges are actually my ranges vs a person I have pegged as a lite 3-bettor (in fact my ranges are actually a bit looser then that). So I would assume that most good TAG/LAG regulars would do the same (obv this is player dependant tho, and you need the read to go with it). So no, they are not absurdly misguided.
