Here's a very general, badly estimated example. Let's say you lose those 6 buy-ins ($30) over a month, all due to losing when you had the best hand. Keep playing the same way, and if you start getting incredible luck the next month, you will likely gain 20 buy-ins ($100) the second month. Over 2 months, your luck seems to have evened out somewhat, but you have gained 14 buy-ins ($70) because you kept getting your money in with the best of it.

i know its variance but only last week i lost to set over set 16 times in 3 and a half hours and endless runner runners. i had 207 in my BR and went down to 150 due to this swing, this continued till i hit 118 2 days ago. My good run the other nite took me back up to 146 but yesterday within 3 hours im now down to 108, this is due to the 2 hands ive mentioned in riverrats also i slost my stack to kk i had aq flop came kqq, also i had ak called by as 3d flop kh8s6s turn ks river another spade obv, i was all in on flop as well. i may play 2nl im just sick and tired of this rigged ass shit!
