On Friday I was at the casino playing $1/$2 lightning (electronic NLHE), up about $150 and this new guy sits down. He plays 2 hands and the one he showed down he had second pair, weak kicker to loose $25. He has about $160 left and limps UTG, one more limper and I’m on the button with AQs I pop it up to $9. They both call. Flop comes 73A rainbow. The both check I bet just over ½ pot, he min raises the other guy folds, I think for a bit… Don’t think he has a set and A7/A3 don’t feel right so I’m think AT or something. I push and he says “If you got the set you deserve it and calls” We can’t see cards yet and I say “so you did call my pf raise with A7 or A3?” and he says “A7” Turn is blank, river comes a Q and I fist pump. He’s pissed, everyone groans and I say “That’s what you get for calling 4BB pf with “A7o”. I smile on the inside when he rebuys.
