people generally shit on minraises because they're often made with marginal hands on draw-heavy boards. Thus, they build up a pot when the raiser should be eliminating hands.

In this case though, you're doing it to build a pot and get that BB to keep putting more money in the pot, which was successful. The flop isn't very scary for this play, and if villains hold 89 or TT then nh, you're not getting away anyways.

Only concern I have with the play is that it leaves your turn raise pretty small, and this particular turn isn't that great to see. Giving your villain 4:1 and the BB possibly 5:1 allows a number of draws to stay in there. Looks like a blank landed on the river though.

You were aiming to play for stacks and did just that plus dead money, so nh
