First hand there's no need to raise on the river, just call. Never know if he was sticking around to your turn raise with a Qx of clubs.
Second hand... if you thought he only had ace high, throw out a big raise on the turn and he will most likely fold. If he calls and you determine he has a queen or pocket pair, then you still have 13 outs (open end str8 plus two pair or trips). If he does call a raise on the turn and you miss the river, fold to a bet or check if he checks to you, your pair of 5's is likely beat.
