Net Gain league ranking system
Algorithm

A player's score for a tournament equals his net gain for
that tournament.
Overall score is the sum of all net gains.
Examples
--------
Angus pays $10 to buy into a tournament. Along the way, he
purchases an add-on for $10. He knocks a player out and
receives a $5 bounty. He finishes just out of the money.
Angus score for the tournament is -15:
. -10 points for the $10 buy-in
. -10 points for the $10 add-on
. +5 points for the bounty he received.
Dr. Neau's Comments

Players are not penalized for missing a tournament. In a
200 player tournament, the player finishing last can
receive the same score as the player finishing just out of the money.
