Default Question

I am playing in the 2/4 cent rooms at pstars. lately I have not been doing well. I just finished Hold Em' Poker by Slansky (for the second time). At first I did well went from 3 dollas to 8 dollars in one day (disregarding my original losses of 22 dollars in higher stakes rooms). now after 3 days I am all the way back down to $5.40. I play pretty conservatively I use slansky's list of starting hands and try to go by his suggested preflop stratdgy and as best I can follow most of what he says in his book.

man this makes me so fuckin mad i lost AA twice in just a short time. 1st time the idiot managed to hit a flush on 5th street. 2nd time the other guy had KK and and 2 Kings came one on 5th st. what BS. 2.2 percent chance(for the last one neway). o well just won a bit back cause i got two pair queens and kings and actually managed to get a little money in the pot.

anyway my problems seem to be:
1. when i do get the nuts i can't get ne money in the pot.
2. All these lower limit players seem to call just about anything hoping to hit anything, and sometimes they do.

any suggestions? Also, do you think Hold Em' Poker could be leading me a bit astray since it was designed for 10/20 dollar and i am playing 2/4 cent? I am planning on purchasing a book geared twoards low limit (see my other thread) so perhaps that will help. here are my stats:
Hold'em (Real Money):

2000 hands played and saw flop:
- 113 times out of 383 while in small blind (30%)
- 274 times out of 394 while in big blind (70%)
- 304 times out of 1223 in other positions (25%)
- a total of 691 times out of 2000 (35%)

Pots won at showdown - 94 out of 186 (51%)
Pots won without showdown - 100

appears my pots won at showdown has shrunk in percentage. any way to get that up?
thanks guys.
