Id advise getting enough for a buy in (usually 10kish) and strait up buying into the tourny.
Most ppl will say "you are crazy!" but let me explain:
You will usually cash. Simple truth is, if you keep min raising preflop, and min betting each flop (calling every raise) ppl will get very confused w/ your strategy.
Eventually they cant take it and donk off to you.

Also, I would advise you to learn from the player pokerpker111, he has been very successful at playing live. In fact he once had 2 winning sessions at a 2/4NL game while playing with only a 800$ bankroll.
