If you know the basics as in the min raises and that everyone gets 2 cards and so forth In texas holdem( the very basics) Then I highly recommend Phil Gordon's Little green Book and Harrington holdem Volume 1 and 2,


If your a COMPLETE rookie you might wanna get LGB(little green book) and possibly Poker for dummies.


Theory of Poker is highly regarded as is HOH.
