BECAUSE THERE'S NO PLAN! NO PLAN AGAINST A TEAM WITH THE WORST RUN DEFENSE IN THE LEAGUE?!!! Did Ron Turner blink when TJ ran a 52 yarder to set up the TD pass to Moose? That's it... I just figured it out. Sign me up for a job. RUN TO SET UP THE PASS!!!! You learn that shit in POP Warner for God's sake.

2 factors for the colts defense looking stellar in the playoffs
1) The colts got run on after Sanders went down. They had to stop crowding the line. simply put, with sanders they can put 7 or 8 in the box, with 1 safety over the top; without him they play a base cover 2.
2) look at the teams they played in the playoffs, KC, Baltimore, NE, and Da Bears. not one of those teams has a potent passing attack. the colts simply stacked the line or run blitzed every down!!! If they had to play San Diego which has a 2 dimensional offense their defenses weak links would have shown up. they played great running attack teams but, if you can stack the line and ONLY play run you'll stop it.
thats the reason NE fell short this year, they were a 1 dimensional offense; run, run, short pass, run, short pass. If you stacked the line or relentlessly blitzed them they had trouble on offense.
