I don't think you can put them on a higher pair - certainly not the 2nd caller of what was only a 3bb raise. They most likely have 22-88, AQ/AJ type hands I think.
Maybe some would call with JJ or be donkish and try to trap with AA/KK but I think if you are happy to play against the BB (which given the situation you should be), then you should push through them.
