I guess. My thinking though is if you can take a 3000 (150 BB) pot down without a showdown its worth avoiding the 10% chance you get sucked out on the river. Your pretty much putting your tourny life on the line for a extra 35BB.

In this hand he had only a 7% chance of winning, but a 13% chance of a split. So 1 in 5 times you are going to end up with less money then if you take it down on the turn.
