Some interesting ideas and opinions. Here was my thinking....
PF...like it or hate it, I'm laggy. I'm not raising PF cause I think my A6 is worth it, I'm raising PF because I want to A> steal the blinds B> take control of the hand or C> gain position while limiting the field. CO calls, which is about the worst outcome I could have hoped for, and we're heads up to the flop.
Flop...GIN! Now, me being a laggy player, I'm probably going to bet this flop almost 100% of the time. It's what I do, I bet. Like Alex pointed out, if I'm making a C-bet here having missed the flop, I'm probably going to bet around half the pot. I think it's the perfect bet to get a weaker hand to call (which is what happened here) or to make my opponent think that he can take the hand away from me with a raise. It's also a good bet to build a bit of a pot in case my opponent has something like AJ/AT/AQ.
Turn....my opponents call tells me he's drawing and the turn just made things worse. It puts 2 flushes on the board, a 3 card straight and all kinds of 2 pairs. I don't want to see the river card and I'd be happy to take this down on the turn. If my opponent wants to call, I'm going to make it wrong for him to do so. I still think I'm good here but if not I'm pretty sure my opponent is going to decide to tell me on the turn.
River.....what are ya gonna do?
