In this hand had I re-raised my opponent PF, he would have check/folded on the flop and I wouldn't have gotten anything else out of him.
I guess It's very difficult to measure your expected value here based upon whether you reraise.

If the flop comes down 932 and you have flat called you are probably going broke having given him a free flop (I would anyway - how do you know he doesnt have TT/JJ/QQ)?
If the board comes down 9 high and he has JJ/QQ maybe you then take his whole stack whilst if you had reraised you wouldn't.

I personally dont think $100NL games on PokerStars warrant this play. If you're playing with a small group of decent players (could be $1000NL+ game online/maybe a site with smaller player base or home game/local casino) this may be more worthwhile, I just don't feel it's necessary.

Pro's can slowplay these hands because they are not playing against donks. Without a very good read on an average $100NL opponent it's very difficult not to go broke with an overpair, whereas perhaps playing against Barry Greenstein you can at least be sure either my AA is losing or he is bluffing and not worry that he thinks A8 top pair is the nuts.
