Just want to post somewhere how angry I am with myself, and the importance of not allowing tilt, however it affects you, change your game.
Today I was getting hammered by 1 player. I lost a 100BB pot all in preflop with AKs vs ATs. I would then consistently raise KK and see an Ace flop, which when I could get to a cheap showdown he would have A7. I would raise QQ and bet out on a K high flop and get reraised all in. However if I did have an overpair or trips, he would somehow fold. Just 1 of those frustrating sessions when you feel like the other guy can see your cards.
Anyway another player then makes a 3bb raise and I am on the BB with

.
I usually muck AQ to a raise, especially out of position, but here decide to call (only costs $4 right).
Flop is then:
The raiser bets 1/2 pot, I min raise and he calls.
The turn brings a 2nd spade so when he pushes his last $40 in to a $60 pot I feel I can't fold with my gutshot straight and flush draw. He turns over trip Aces.
Just illustrates how making 1 seemingly small change to your play out of frustration can escalate to costing you half a buy in.
I am really angry with myself now for not leaving the table before this happened, and probably put it down to tiredness from overplaying(Its now 8AM here). Need to stop such late nights.
OK Therapy session over..............
