Were we at the table at the same timne?? Shows how observant I am, especially if I was in seat 5 at the same time he was .

I have found, in my experience, that you need to 3 bet pre-flop with the wekaer strong hands to see how much these guys really like their hands. Alot of players will open-raise with 55 on up, A7s is a very possible raising hand because its a sooted ace. You're three bet is like asking them what the really got. If they cap, well your AJs or JJ or whatever is SOL, and you need to proceed with caution on the flop. If they call, then you are most likely ahead and can play your good flops pretty hard.

Yes, I think he would have quite possible called with TT, since he called down against your flop bet, and then tried to steal it on the turn. Personally I think I would have capped it on the turn, mainly for info, expensive though, because there is now real way that 5 helped him, aside from A4s, and hes not raising that PF, probably. This will let me know what he really thinks of his hand again. This reraising does get expensive, but I have found it does increase my chances of winnign the hand enough to make it profitable.

TT was my second choice, but I have found if I err on the side of caution, I do better. In hindisight of my inital idea, I'd put him on TT rather than Queens, Queens would most likely have been capped preflop. So with that revision, I figure I'm still ahead here, and bet accordingly for value. If I'm wroing and get raised, then I still call, since folding is a error that may cost me a pot, but calling or raising only cots me a bet or 2. If i have him on Queens pretty solid though, Checking behind may have the most +EV. But I think betting/call or checking both have +EV here against this player.
