ok so say im playing a .15/.30 NL full ring game and i raise in Early position wi AK, get 1 caller and im first to act after the flop, the flop comes down 10 7 5, this is where i lose money, if i make a continuation bet and he calls, i dont know where i am. if i check i then allow him to take control of the pot. suggestions?

this is not a hand thats actually happened, im just wondering what to do in these situations
