lol... probably! i've not read many poker forums so may well me.

However, i've moved up through 10, 25 and 50c blinds and definately see less calling with rags as i go up. I've played little on the $1 but didn't see much flat calling with rags. So thats my personal experience.

I've also read a bit from the pro's and been told a lot, by players at the higher limits, that lower limit tables are rife with players calling with rags and less of it goes on at the higher limits... so i think thats reason enough to believe its not just a blind assumption.

I don't want them nessacarily to fold more... Just not continually call with rags.

If it only costs you $1 to call even though its a big raise on a 10c table, at the end of the day its still only a buck so you're more likely to call even thought the odds arent there. You're more likely to fold if it was a $5 raise on a $1 table.
This morning I got up and grabbed the paper from the doorstep and read Marrioti... lol

Anyway, so people are gonna K2 for a stick of gum to win an old movie, but not for a Coke to win a couple of new releases? This makes no sense on so many levels.

1.) The amount of money on the table means nothing. The value is only in realtion to the blinds and the person's BR.

2.) I'd guess that 95% of everyone playing online games under $400 sucks.

3.) If you can't beat bad players, you can't beat good players.

4.) If you can't manage a bankroll, you can't beat anyone because you'll go broke on every inevitable cold streak and you can't play without money.

5.) One of ActionJeff's UB names, NOIAGAP, says it best. NOIAGAP stands for "No One Is Actually Good At Poker" and this comes from someone who plays every tournament over $100 on the net.

6.) If you wanna play bigger games, go for it. Skill has nothing to do with how you play for. Whether you have the dough or not is all that matters. Sounds like you don't have the dough and people without the dough go broke no matter how good they are.
