Don't do it until you can afford it. If you are really losing a lot of money to the donks at the $0.50 tables then you need to figure out the leak in your game and plug it.

I'm not actually losing to them... i'm still up to 300 from 100 over 2 weeks on the 50c's. Prior to that i'd ben playing mostly 10c and 25c. I'm just tired of being called by rags and believe there will be less of this at the higher limits... however one bad run at the higher limits will demolish a $300 bankroll.
As we speak... 50c 5 handed table. Preflop raise on the button of $2 with pockets 8's (been playing tight so seemed like a reasonable semi bluff). Big blind calls me and another caller. Flop comes out bb goes all in i get out. Turns out he's got 79o. Didn't see what the second caller had... was too dumbfounded
