I think mixing it up is fine.... I will limp or raise about 70%-30% with these hands mp...But it really depends on the table too. Is the table full of loose passive, loose aggressive, tight passive, tight aggresive,
I will tend to raise more often preflop wiht these hands when there are more tight players then loose players.
Because raising with quite a few loose players at the table will not help you with putting people on a range of hands, so I tend to play more of a pot control style.
And on top there is a new wave of players that will flat call with big pp's or AK to you opening bet.
What happens in this situation is .....
You raise preflop , get smoothcalled, flop comes , you continuation bet more often then not, then get reraised...Now what?
You hit you J, well you could be facing an overpair, you hit your K, you could be in kicker trouble, and it now cost you more on you flop bet because of lack of pot control....
So limping is quite ok IMO... GL
