I can understands DMpokah's point, it took me a little while to really understand the value of position. I finally had an "A-HA!" moment when I realised how much easier it is to play a set in position than it is to play out of position. It becomes really hard to extract value in this situation.

Should you bet right out or check to your opponent?
Is he going to bet if you check to him?
If he does bet, should you check raise now?
If you do check raise now, are you going to be giving away too much information about the strength of your hand?
Will he call a check raise?
If you flat call him, will he bet the turn again?
