This is what you're gonna find in most casinos (20-50bb max buy ins.) for games $500 and under. Usually it's to minimize the white chips on the table, but this is just weird.

I've played a ton $200 games with 2/5 and 3/5 blinds and $500 games with 5/10 blinds and they're not that ridiculous. The fact that it's $20 will make it ridiculous. Avoid it. The smallest NL casino game worth playing is $100 with 1/2 blinds. In normal casino games, there's a lot of postflop play in these shortstack games. These games is where I learned that Hold 'em is a 7 card game with unique betting rounds on every street. Stick to online until you can play a better game. $20 games are gonna be really goofy and force too much overbetting with not enough information.

And guys, online games are shortstacked. 100bs is still short with all of the pot betting that goes on.
