How Software affects Online Games
Over the past year I would say I have at one time or another played at pretty much every major online network.
There are some major differences in how the software is set up as to what the most convenient option is at NL cash games.
For example some sites include a "bet pot" option preflop which would give a standard opening raise of 3.5bb, whilst others do not leading to people having to select their own size.
Most sites have a raise in advance button which is always the min raise.
Some sites set the bet size to pot unless altered, others set it to min bet unless altered.
I haven't collected any data, and don't even have any solid thoughts, but has anyone else thought how these type of things can affect how much action you get in a game?
