A one word response? Thats the best you can do? I love to play against predictable opponents!

Yes, there may be multiple ways of playing a hand profitably, but the way that makes you the most money I consider to be the "right way" to play a hand.

The majority of the players that we face just aren't that good, they can't put someone on an accurate range, nor can most properly adjust to exploit. Beginner players should focus more on ABC poker than trying to be hard to read, there's a reason tight players can make money without trying. Also, people tend to run hot/cold in poker, it isn't uncommon for someone to get a string of good hands to be seen as aggro, or a balanced aggressive player to seem tight simply because things aren't going their way.

Anyways, adjusting to exploit particular player tendencies will often give your play enough variance to throw off the average player.

To push your AK here is fine, like you said he plays bad, and probably has a weak Ace, like he did. You say "lesson learned" I hope it means understanding you did nothing wrong.

I'd do the same thing you did. Nothing you can do against a donk but hope he misses.

Any time you go all-in pre-flop with AK, you're gambling. You're only likely to get called if you're 50% at best. Not the case here, but just saying.
