I wasn't implying that you were cocky, sorry if it came off that way. But always start with a book on the basics, you'd be surprised how much it actually helps. Pick up The Theory of Poker by Sklansky and start there. But you're only what? 14? 15? Pick up a sport and worry about poker in two years or so...who knows if your interest in it will carry that long.
