Default Making the step from $10+1 to $20+2

I am currently making about $600 a month playing $10+1 STTs. I was thinking of going up to the $20+2s so I can (in theory) make $1200 a month. I was slightly concerned tho that my style of play wont make the move to $20 tables very well as I play tight and then hope to get paid when I do make a hand.

I suppose what I would like to know, preferably from someone who has played in both...

Is there a big gap in class from the $10s to the $20s and will I still get paid when I make good hands?
