Honestly, especialy in live play, I calculate my pot odds before doing anything!!! (check, bet, call, raise, etc)

Even if i know instictively if I have the odds to call or not, I'll take a few seconds do calculate my pot odds in order to avoid giving some tells about my hand, and also to take time to pick up a tell on my oponents.

Anyway, you have to know your pot ods to justify any move you do. Even for a fold with 72o after an all in bet. Of course, most 99% time, instinctively, you know you cant call with 7-2, but some time, you will have the odds!
