I've been watching this show again and just can't understand how these pro's consistently make -EV plays.

E.g Daniel N called a $20k dollar raise from Bob Stupek who had $80k remaining (no implied odds there). (Edit: DN had 77 and it was the 1st hand Stupek played all night so DN must be putting him on AA/KK)

Todd Brunson called about 13k into 19k on 10 high flush draw on turn and didn't get paid off when hitting. Lots of players seemed to call potsize bets on draws.

Sammy Farha calling a raise with KTs and ending up losing to Todd Brunson's AK when hitting his K.

I understand players like Sammy Farha can maybe raise with crap hands in position and play profitably due to bluffing other players, but the decisions I list above (particularly DN's, can never be +EV).
